Garden Party Wedding at Historic Callahan House in Longmont, Colorado
The Callahan House in Longmont, Colorado, is a historic Victorian-style mansion built in 1892 and gifted to the city of Longmont in 1938. The house itself is filled with vintage charm, which I love. While you walk through, you can find detailed woodwork, a beautiful stairway, and parquet floors. Outside the house, you’re met by a breathtaking garden that you and your guests will love. This quaint romantic venue has so much to offer in the heart of Longmont.

Extra CNP Tip: Take some time to enjoy the Gardens together before your ceremony starts. I absolutely love capturing your candid moments and the pre-wedding talking, laughing, and jitters are some of the natural interactions I love most…and you will too. Also for photos popping out on the very “Romeo and Juliet” balcony is a must. I’d also recommend making some time for some fun vintage-feeling flash photos.
Capturing this whimsical wedding reception for Nichole Emerson Photography was a true delight. While the Studio Ghibli guest book was a charming detail, my favorite part of this wedding day was not found in the decorations. What truly warmed my heart was the couple's unique approach to their celebration. They chose to have an intimate ceremony elsewhere, just the two of them, and then, almost a year later, they hosted this quaint, romantic reception with a handful of their closest friends and family. The love and intentionality they put into their celebration were evident in every moment. From the bunny-themed cake inspired by their beloved carrot-loving pet to the meaningful choices they made about what to share and what to keep private, the day felt perfectly true to them. It was a beautiful testament to their love and the thoughtful way they chose to celebrate it.

When it comes to wedding photography, you've got choices with me. Whether you opt for hourly packages (I suggest at least 8 hours for this venue) or the All Day package, you'll get a blend of stunning portraits and candid moments captured in a documentary style. I'll be there to preserve all the joy, authenticity, and timelessness of your special day in photos you'll cherish forever.
