She loves yoga, hiking, and gentle movement.
She’s a certified mindfulness coach who dreams of running a second business as a therapist alongside her photography business someday.
Catherine is a mirror twin. (definition: the 'Mirror image' is a type of identical twinning. It can happen in any type of identical twins. When the split occurs late, more than a week after conception (Twins.org). Both sisters work in the arts and continue to expand and inspire one another’s work.
Catherine is from a family of artists. Her father is a musician, and her aunt was a professional painter.
Catherine’s favorite activity outside of work is capturing fine art images on film and digital from her travels or from walks around Denver.

Catherine has over a decade of professional photography experience and a BFA in photography and design. Catherine has photographed hundreds of weddings, portrait sessions, and events. Catherine Norwood Photo started portrait photography in 2011, started wedding photography in 2017, and began full-time documentary wedding and lifestyle photography in 2021.
